Third site for the same repeat client — a dry lining and carpentry package with advanced acoustic solutions and custom joinery across classrooms, toilets and the reception.
Scope of work
What the package included
- Acoustic walls, floors and ceilings using the soundproofing build-ups proven on the previous two sites.
- Classroom walls — 4 × 2 timber, 50 mm PIR insulation, 12.5 mm Soundblock plasterboard with resilient bars.
- I-joists installed above the classroom walls to form a separate enclosed void, with dwarf walls for safety and a plywood cover for soundproofing.
- Timber-framed floors and plywood decks.
- Toilet areas with triangular front-wall details.
- Reception with a pitched roof and a corner window.
